North West England Counselling Services provides first class counselling therapy for a wide range of personal concerns and mental health conditions, for both adults and young people. Counselling is a psychotherapeutic approach that can be beneficial for anybody at different points in their lives. People may find themselves drawn to find support at times of difficulty, or may use counselling in more individualised ways, perhaps to enable them to build self-awareness and understanding. Person-centred therapy, also known as person-centred or client-centred counselling, is a humanistic approach . It deals with the ways in which individuals perceive themselves consciously, rather than how a counsellor can interpret their unconscious thoughts or ideas. It is a non-directive approach, where the client finds the solutions to their own problems.
Person Centered Counselling
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle.
CBT aims to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts.

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy, is a type of psychotherapy. It is where the counsellor helps couples of all types to recognize and resolve conflicts and improve their relationships.
Walk and Talk Therapy
As the name describes, clients talk with me while walking in the outdoors rather than sitting in my counselling room. Walking side by side rather than sitting face to face, can enable some clients to feel more comfortable when sharing in the therapy process.
